Raised in Nagano, Japan, I moved to Tokyo when I was 18 to study at Japanese Confectionery College for 2 years. Working in Tokyo for the following 8 years, I then traveled to Toronto, Canada, for 2 years. Upon my return to Tokyo I was invited to be head pastry chef of a michelin star restaurant in Fontainebleau, France until I met my husband and moved to Surrey to start our family. I love making people happy with my deserts and enjoy making a variety of pastries so please feel free to make any request and I will help if I can.
